Fear of man has a way of wrapping its arms around us without us even realizing it. Yet, if we give into the ideology of allowing the perception of others to guide our decision, we will quickly fall far from our convictions founded within the Gospel message. In many ways, deciding to follow Christ will be met with raised eyebrows and confused looks. Yet, we are called to obedience, even when it doesn’t make sense to the world around us, not out of duty, but out of the freedom to respond to what God has done for us through our obedience.
