Long respected pastor, professor, and author Calvin Miller (The Singer trilogy) passed away yesterday (August 19, 2012). A remembrance at his web site states, "He spent a great deal of his life writing love letters to his Lord Jesus. He is now with him."

From a year's worth of devotionals in the Celebrate Jesus! Millennium Bible to pastoral-focused nonfiction (O Shepherd, Where Art Thou?) and modern novels (Blindsided), Miller published a variety of works with B&H and as recently as this year contributed to The Mission of God Study Bible.
